Lining Tunnel Mold
For concrete placing at circular, horseshoe-shaped, oval and similar shapes at high lengths, the integrity and cohesiveness of concrete is important and the use of a conventional tunnel mold system is common. Due to the consumption of these molds in projects such as freeway tunnels and railway tunnels in high dimensions and as a result of high weight and pressure on the mold, they are the specialized products of the Tanha Poulad company.
Technical Specifications
- Tunnel molds consist of four main parts (walls, operators and connections, chassis, and cart).
- The cart part of these molds is produced in two forms: 1. Self-propelling on rails or structural substrates 2. Mechanically transported by machinery
- In the Self-propelling system, the mold moves in the longitudinal direction of the tunnel and continuously provides the concreting bed.
- The use of hydraulic jacks is used to control high-weight open walls and increase project ease and in order to prevent cost loss, mechanical systems and manual jacks are used in projects with smaller sections. The molds are often designed and executed in lengths of 6, 9 and 12 meters.
- All services of design, construction, implementation, supervision and training of the workforce are provided by the engineers of the Tanha Poulad group for the esteemed employers.
